Phillip Mitchell failed to appear in court for the Protection from Abuse (PFA) order he filed against me. This no-show not only wasted valuable court resources of an already strained legal system. The time and effort spent preparing for and scheduling the hearing could have been better utilized to assist genuine victims in need of protection. He has no business being a police officer or protecting anyone. Why did USD497 hire him as a School Resource Officer (SRO)? Why did the Lawrence Police Department employ him?
